What you can expect

Step behind the scenes at Featherdale Wildlife Park to enter the exclusive penguin enclosure for a close encounter with the adorable colony. Featherdale Wildlife Park is one of Sydney’s finest attractions located in Greater Western Sydney. Take a walk in the footsteps of the animal keepers as you help out during feeding time with the Little Penguins. Sit down and watch them play with the rare opportunity to hand feed them. Guests are welcome to take videos and photos throughout the encounter. The Featherdale Wildlife Park Penguin Encounter is available daily at 10am or 3.30pm daily and bookings are highly recommended for this popular animal experience.

Additional Information
  • Please note that general admission to the park is not included
  • All children 15 years and below must be accompanied by a paying adult encounter ticket and it is the responsibility of the adult to supervise the child at all times
  • The animal welfare is to be determined by the Featherdale Keeper at all times, and the Keeper reserves the right to cease the encounter at any time
  • All participants must be able to follow all instructions given by the Featherdale Keeper throughout the Encounter, and you agree to act at all times in a safe and appropriate manner
  • A minimum of 7 days notice is required prior to your encounter for any changes made to your booking
  • Encounter tickets are non-refundable
  • Guests must be at the meeting point at the start of the encounter
  • Featherdale Wildlife Park recommends arriving to the park a minimum of 30 minutes prior to this experience
  • Guests will meet a keeper at the meeting point where they will be given a safety brief and introduction to the encounter before entering the enclosure

  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
  • Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
